This form has to be completed before traveling to Rapa Nui. It requires you to provide the location where you’ll be staying, as well as the flight information and exit date.

When boarding your flight, you’ll need to provide three documents:

the result from filling out this form
proof of approved lodging on the island
proof of an exit flight

The maximum stay in Rapa Nui is 30 days.

Great tour agency. I did three tours with them. The full-day tour was fantastic, and the recommended lunch was actually good- choice of chicken, tuna, or tuna ceviche. They have tours in English and Spanish, with knowledgeable friendly guides.

A ticket is required to visit all of the important sites in Rapa Nui. You can buy it in person at the office, or online.

When you enter sites you’ll need to present it alongside your passport (or photo of it).

Note: any site where you have to present your ticket, you’re also required to be escorted by a certified guide. Self-guided tours by bike or car can only see the smaller statues or larger sites from a distance.

The flight from Santiago requires entry via a different security gate (floor 2 of the terminal) than all other flights. Right outside of this gate are PDI booths to present your documents and receive your PDI ticket for Rapa Nui. This booth can easily be missed if you’re not looking for it.
